I qualified as an advanced hypnotherapist in June 2001.  I am a Registered General Nurse (what used to known as SRN when I qualified in 1977) and whilst bringing up my children I worked as a bereavement counsellor.

Over the years I have become more and more aware of the strength of the connection between mind and body and how our thoughts and emotions affect our physical health and general well-being.  I have witnessed time and time again how positive thinking enables people to achieve their goals and ambitions and can also promote better health.

Hypnosis is a very gentle but powerful tool and my job is to enable people to be in touch with who they really want to be and to facilitate the changes that they desire quickly and easily.

I derive enormous satisfaction from seeing a client turn their life around after only a few sessions with the realisation that they have a choice as to how to think, feel and act.

Hypnohealing sounded a bit 'open toed sandals and lentils' until I learned how the subconscious mind works and now I see how very logical it is.  If I was still left with any doubt the results speak for themselves.

At present I work as a Staff Nurse on the paediatric wards at Northampton General Hospital and work as a hypnotherapist from home.  These occupations are practiced independently of each other, but in the future I should like to think that there will be a more holistic approach to health care i.e. truly complementary medicine.
